COBOURG COPS SQUANDER INTERNET RESOURCES

What do you think the Cobourg Police Services do on their lunch hour and coffee break? Well they spend an hour and quarter investigating Wally Keeler’s blog, Cobourg Of All Things. How do I know? Click on image below to enlarge and you'll see.

It sure beats spending time investigating themselves for the leak within their ranks. Don’t ya just love it when the public trust is in jeopardy and all the Cobourg Police Sservice can do is utilize taxpayer-paid computers, taxpayer-paid internet time, to surf the web-sites of innocent citizens, probably searching for discrediting information. Why don’t they do this on their own dime at home using their own computers and services? Because they arrogantly think no one will blow a whistle on them, that they can leak privileged information to whomever they want.

One would think that whenever there is prima facie evidence of betrayal of the public trust by a taxpayer-supported organization, the news media would rise up in its self-appointed role as the watch dog for the public interest. I mean the news media brags about that role time and again. Where is the Cobourg Daily Star? Is it asking questions? Well, really, they are the beneficiary of the leak-stink. They make money. They published the photo, not for the public interest, but to make a buck, in the same manner as a supermarket tabloid, catering to the lowest common denominator.

I’ll comment on the Cobourg Daily Star’s role on my blog tomorrow, if I have time -- I'm attending an art show opening downtown Montreal. I need to rub elbows with arsty fartsies.

But Beware if you drop into my blog, the cops are watching. BTW, their IP address is 65.93.229.138. Drop in and say hi to them.
